The tool scales the picture proportionally and centers it on a transparent 320 × 320 px canvas. Frames shown for less than 17 ms are merged into the next frame (60 fps). If an animation is larger than 512,000 bytes, the tool keeps every 2nd, then every 3rd frame and so on, up to every 5th, without changing the total duration.

Before the download is offered, the file is read again: dimensions, PNG structure, byte size, frame timing and pixels. Then upload it in Discord under Server Settings → Stickers.
Frequently asked questions
What does Discord require for sticker files?
Discord's sticker FAQ lists PNG or APNG files of exactly 320 × 320 px, no larger than 512 KB, with animations at no more than 60 frames per second. This tool checks those rules, using 512,000 bytes as the size limit. Discord's own upload check stays separate, so the tool cannot guarantee that every file is accepted.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing, encoding and the checks run in your browser. Nothing is sent to Discord; you upload the downloaded file yourself.
Why does my animation look less smooth?
A 320 × 320 px animation with many frames often exceeds 512 KB. The tool then keeps only 1 of every 2, 3, 4 or 5 frames and shows each kept frame longer; the result shows how many frames remain. If even every 5th frame is too large, no file is offered. Animations with up to 300 frames, 4,096 px per side and 20 MiB are accepted.
