Input content stays in this tab; Refentra does not upload or store it. Optional aggregate action counts are sent only with your usage consent. Clear the workspace when finished.
Supported profile: sRGB/HSL harmonies with HEX/RGB/HSL values; palette alone does not guarantee WCAG compliance.
Maximum text: 200,000 UTF-16 units; parser limits can be smaller. Worker time limit: 15 seconds (regex 1.5 seconds).
Check the input and the result
- Prepare and choose the operation
Enter a base color and choose complementary, triadic, analogous or monochrome harmony.
- Check a concrete example
Use this sample and compare the indicated result: #3366cc → complementary → #3366cc + #cc9933
- Check the output before you reuse it
Compare the swatches and hexadecimal values. Test proposed text and background combinations separately with the contrast checker.
Answers for this task
Why does complementary not mean accessible?
HSL hue rotation picks geometric color relationships. It says nothing about minimum luminance contrast or suitability for people with color-vision differences.
What should I check if the input fails?
Use a supported opaque color. If a palette looks unchanged, check the harmony and the saturation of the base color.
Where does this tool stop?
The sRGB harmonies generated here are design suggestions. They don't match print CMYK, approve a brand or automatically meet WCAG.
