The file stays in your browser; no upload. One static PNG, JPG or WebP up to 10 MiB and 16 MP. The shorter side must be at least 48 px.
Create ICO
16, 32 and 48 px are always generated; 64, 128 and 256 px only when the source is at least that size on both sides. No upscaling. Rectangular images get transparent padding, including JPG sources. Existing PNG/WebP transparency may be retained. Output is 8-bit RGBA PNG inside ICO; metadata, color profiles and high-resolution detail are lost. ICO files with DIB/BMP entries cannot be imported here.

Frequently asked questions
Will this improve a small logo?
No. Source detail cannot be recovered. The image is fitted into square transparent icon canvases without upscaling.
Can I edit an existing ICO?
No. This generator creates PNG-based ICO entries from PNG, JPEG or WebP; importing legacy DIB ICO files is a separate job.
Is my original changed?
No. The browser makes a separate output file; your selected original remains unchanged.
