Input content stays in this tab; Refentra does not upload or store it. Optional aggregate action counts are sent only with your usage consent. Clear the workspace when finished.
Supported profile: Local length and pattern estimate; no breach database or security guarantee.
Maximum text: 200,000 UTF-16 units; parser limits can be smaller. Worker time limit: 15 seconds (regex 1.5 seconds).
Check the input and the result
- Prepare and choose the operation
Enter a candidate password locally, and look at the length, the variety of characters and the common-pattern warnings together.
- Check a concrete example
Use this sample and compare the indicated result: password → heuristic="weak", commonPattern=true
- Check the output before you reuse it
A longer, unique secret is better than superficial substitutions. The level shown is a rough estimate, not a measured cracking time.
Answers for this task
Does stronger mean unbreached?
No. No breach database is queried, so a reused or exposed password that looks strong can still be unsafe.
What should I check if the input fails?
Use text of up to 4,096 characters. Punctuation alone can't fix a common word or a predictable sequence.
Where does this tool stop?
The local score can't account for targeted guessing, reused credentials, malware, a service’s hashing policy or how secure account recovery is.
