Privacy & limitsRuns in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Input content stays in this tab; Refentra does not upload or store it. Optional aggregate action counts are sent only with your usage consent. Clear the workspace when finished.
Supported profile: Strict offline HTML subset; scripts/resources/links removed; conversion can lose formatting. 50,000 units.
Maximum text: 200,000 UTF-16 units; parser limits can be smaller. Worker time limit: 15 seconds (regex 1.5 seconds).
Check the input and the result
- Prepare and choose the operation
Choose Markdown→HTML or HTML→Markdown explicitly, and paste the content of the document, not a website URL.
- Check a concrete example
Use this sample and compare the indicated result: <h1>Demo</h1><p><strong>Hello</strong></p> → HTML→Markdown → # Demo … **Hello**
- Check the output before you reuse it
Review the headings, emphasis, lists and fenced code after converting. The sanitized intermediate step can't keep every HTML feature.
Answers for this task
Will links and images round-trip?
No. Sanitizing strips attributes and forbids images, so link destinations, styling and embedded resources can't survive as features of the original page.
What should I check if the input fails?
Confirm the direction first. Missing scripts or styles are removed on purpose by the sanitizing, so don't try to bypass the safe preview.
Where does this tool stop?
Input ≤50,000 UTF-16 units. The conversion loses information for HTML that isn't supported, and it doesn't import remote pages or run their code.
