Resize image dimensions
Choose whether the whole image must stay visible or whether you need an exact width and height.
- Runs in your browser
- No upload
- Check before download
1. Choose one image
Exactly one static image, up to 25 MiB and 64 MP. GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, SVG, APNG, and animated WebP are rejected.
Or drop images here. You can also focus this area and paste an image.
2. Choose the sizing mode
Keep aspect ratio — the whole image stays intact and becomes at most as large as the box.
3. Sizes and output
On by default: a smaller image is never enlarged silently.
Estimated output: enter at least one dimension.
“Fit” delivers at most the given dimensions. “Exact area” delivers exactly this width and height and adds padding when needed. “Crop” removes image parts.
More options
The current file format is kept.
4. Result
NO IMAGE — Choose one image to begin.
How this resize works
EXIF orientation is applied before sizing, exactly once. Prediction and export use the same geometry calculation with whole-pixel rounding.
The actual output is decoded and its dimensions are checked before the download is offered. Your original file remains untouched and never leaves this device.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set exact dimensions like 1080×1080?
Yes. You enter an exact width and height and control whether the aspect ratio is kept and whether upscaling is allowed.
What happens if the aspect ratio does not match?
With keep-aspect-ratio enabled, the image is scaled to fit inside the entered dimensions without distortion; with it disabled, the image is stretched to the exact width and height.
Are the images uploaded?
No. Resizing runs locally in your browser, with no upload.
