Convert HTML or Markdown to PDF
- Prepare the input
Choose Markdown or HTML, enter the static content the tool supports, and select A4 or Letter, a margin and a font size. Use text, headings, lists and supported tables. This is a simplified document renderer, not a screenshot of an arbitrary website.
- Try the worked example
In Markdown mode, enter # Notes, a blank line and Hello. The PDF should contain a heading Notes followed by the paragraph Hello as selectable Western text. Reopen it and compare the content and the page breaks.
- Check and save
Check the preview and the saved PDF for wrapping, tables and missing content. Keep the original source. Scripts, remote resources, hidden content and visibility rules outside the static CSS profile are rejected. They are never run or silently accepted.
Questions
Can I convert any webpage by pasting its HTML?
No. Browser scripts, external images and styles, and complex webpage layouts are outside the profile. Paste static document content that is supported. The tool doesn't fetch a URL or reproduce how a whole site is rendered.
Why is text visible in the editor but the PDF refused?
Printing uses a simplified Helvetica profile with Western glyphs. CJK and RTL text, glyphs that aren't supported, active or hidden content and layouts that are too complex can be refused. Keep the source and fix the problem described in the diagnostic.
Does this evaluate embedded HTML or Markdown commands?
No scripts or remote resources are run. The parser builds static document blocks. A local PDF export is not an audit of HTML security, and it doesn't promise the layout will match every browser exactly.
