Profile

Print: Liberation Sans, selectable Latin/Greek/Cyrillic where the actual font encodes it; no combining marks, RTL shaping, CJK or emoji guarantee. Unsupported glyphs refuse PDF while original backups remain. Fountain layout is readable proportional 12pt, not certified industry typography. MathML rendering depends on the browser.

Live controls run only while the tab is active. Hiding, leaving or suspending pauses; reset/edit stops the attempt. No background-time, wake, autoplay, camera, microphone or recording promise. Space and arrows work inside the focused prompter.

Limits

30,000 UTF-16 units total; 100 rows, 10 columns/1,000 cells; 50 rehearsal sections; 2,000 math characters, 1,000 nodes/depth32; 40 PDF pages/8MiB output; 2MiB backup; 20s worker. PNG ≤1MiB/1024², static 8bit. Overflow is refused, never silently removed. CSV protects user text beginning with formula-like symbols using an apostrophe; computed numbers stay numeric. The JSON backup preserves the exact original text.

Check dates, finite numbers, row lengths and the named grammar. Shorten overflowing text or change paper; unsupported font/script/logo/grammar is refused. Cancel/reset and retry; preserve your original backup.

All text, contacts, dates and local images stay in this browser. No sending, tracking of content, storage, accounts or automatic URL requests. Download a backup explicitly before closing.

How to use

  1. Prepare the input

Add named sections, each with a positive target duration in seconds. Generate the plan, then start the live rehearsal when you are ready. Keep this tab active and use the section split control when you move to the next section.

  2. Try the worked example

Use Opening 60 seconds and Closing 30 seconds, so the plan totals 90 seconds. During the rehearsal, splitting Opening after 65 seconds records a 5-second overrun for that section. Actual time comes from what you do live, not from the planned total.

  3. Check and save

Pause when you are interrupted, and finish to review the target, actual and difference for each section. Export the completed or partial report explicitly. Save an input backup separately. Changing the sections resets the current attempt.

Questions

Why did the timer pause when I changed tabs?

The timing controls run only while the tab is active. Hiding the tab, leaving it or having it suspended pauses the attempt, and there is no guarantee about background time or wake-ups. Come back deliberately before you continue.

Does the planned CSV contain my measured delivery?

The plan CSV contains the section names and target seconds. The live rehearsal report records your actual splits. Check which report you are saving, especially when you end an attempt part-way.

Will it record my voice or slides?

No. No microphone, camera or recording is used. This is a local section timer, with at most 50 sections and downloads only when you ask. Use your own section names and keep a backup before you reset or close the page.
